My husband has a beard & I LOVE it. It's not one of those trendy hipster beards tho - he's with the Forest Service so it's legit.2

Trimmed beards look good when on the right person. I don't really like long beards though.
Stubble/slightly scruffy is my favorite though. It looks manly without hiding the face.0 -

I got in trouble with my wife and daughter when I shaved my beard for a costume day at the school where I am the librarian.

Other than from my wife, I have only had one compliment in the last 3 decades. I was out for a walk and a woman was walking towards me. She stopped, looked at me and said, "That's a great beard." All I could think of to say was Thank You. Then she said "You're very handsome" and walked away.
