My ongoing journey

I'm in my late 40's and I've battled my eating my entire life. About 18 months ago my doctor put me on vyvanse and I dropped 80lbs on it. However, I've dropped 70lbs in the past and put it back on, so I knew I needed a plan.

About 3 months ago I started seeing a personal trainer, who advised me to eat more. I couldn't eat more on the vyvanse, so I decided to stop it last month.

Today was my first weigh in...and I was scared. I had every right to be, and I put 7!!!! lbs on. GAH! However, this afternoon was my body composition, so I told myself to just wait...

Got in for the body comp, and their scale agreed with mine, and then came the measurements...

My waist shrank 1/2 an inch, body fat percentage went from 27.4 to 25.7, and I lost 1/2 lb of fat.

This is why some people don't use or rarely use scales. I use my scale diligently to make sure I'm moving in the right direction and not back-tracking. Apparently the trainer is helping so keep up the good work!
