I have tried so many different exercise in the past 8 months, but I must tell that my favorite one is so far kettlebell workouts. If you are wondering why I explain: easy going, burn lots of calories in a short amount of time, effective, lean your arms and upper body really fast and build muscle(it depends how much is your kettlebell) also I sweat lot more than with other exercises even after an hour when I am already done with the workout so that means my body is still burning. I used to workout for an hour up to two hour( i did this for like 5 months when I started to use kettlebell of course I have to say nothing changed I lost only 5 pounds even tho I eat healthy and eat a normal amount of calorie not 1200 cal but 1800-2000 according how much i worked out . I still did not loose a lot of weight, but everyone asking me "did you loose weight, it looks like you did". Well my answer is my body might have changed and it might look like that I did loose, but in reality not :))) I think my body is more toned therefore I look skinnier :))) I don't mind it feels good to look and feel good anyway :P Eventually when all of the fat in my body will turn to muscle I will loose weight as well! At least I am positive about it :P So what is your favorite exercise please let me know and the reason why, what result you get with it? It might help for others who are struggle with the same problem! Thanks, Dia

In all seriousness, with a kettlebell, I like Turkish get ups because it employs so many muscles.

Cardio kickboxing is my favorite, and boxing workouts. I like the intensity and I feel really accomplished when I finish it!

I'm dying to try kettlebells. But they just cancelled it at my gym. GRAH! Might sign up at the local community center for the beginner's class.

Elliptical. Makes me sweat and doesn't destroy my knees.

I am in a workout group (some people call it 'bootcamp') where we do interval taining, cross training, whatever.... every day is different. However, the best part of the group is the group of women. We support each other and encourage each other. It's the best! I also have a running date with my dearest friend, which inspires me. Who needs Happy Hour when you have these group outings? :)

I love the arc trainer because you burn a lot more calories than you would compared to a stationary bike or elliptical in the same amount of time. I love the ease of it, how I can elevate the level to mimic sprinting up stairs and actually get the same motion as walking/running up stairs. But my favorite part about an arc trainer is that I can pretty much do a sprinting motion and move my arms as if I was sprinting without the impact on my knees. This way, I can really kick my butt without the pressure on my knees causing me to end my workout before I'm ready. that and I really hate running, so this is a great way for me to "run" without hating every second of it :o) I only wish they were less expensive so I could have one of my own!

I also love cardio-boxing/-kickboxing and step aerobics classes. I like that you sweat hard the whole time, your heart rate is up the whole time, you feel like you're really accomplishing something and I get a workout high from it afterwords where you have this exhilarated tired feeling going on.

My number one exercise is Tae Bo. I love how Billy motivates people. I love how he looks into the camera and talk to me, giving me his personal trainer encouragement. The workouts will get your heart rate up and it's fun. I have fun doing Tae Bo.

I believe in working a program and not let a program work me. My results don't come from a workout. It comes from me.

I'm doing Supreme 90 Day right now and I like the program, but afterwards, I will be doing a 30 Day Tae Bo program that I'm creating.

Do you live by the ocean? I ask bc of your profile pic. If so, then you should try one of my fave exercise activities, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP)!

It's a fantastic combination of core and upper body strength training as well as cardio, especially if you get out in the ocean. Not to mention how glorious it is to get your exercise with the dolphins!

    blessings.

I've been doing turbo jam, and I love it. It's fun, and I've been burning about 600 a day depending what I put into it. AND, I have bad knees, they've pretty much been giving me grief for 4 years now, I started doing low impact to be kinder to my knees, but since I've been doing it, I can now jump!! AND, I haven't spent any more nights sleeping on the couch because the pain the stairs wa too much to take like i did w/ Jillian and my brief stint with jogging

Never thought I'd say the "L" word about a workout, I must be coming down w/ something...

Working out w/ friends can be a powerful motivator. I meet once a week w/ a friend to do videos together. The kids think it's a play date, we get our girl time AND a great work out in... Everybody wins!

Squats. With an olympic barbell and very heavy weights. I feel powerful doing them and I love the results.

Running on a trail through a forest is right up there too.

Hey girl, no I am about an hour an half far from the ocean, but even if I were living close by I don't think that I would be brave enough to do such workout :))) I don't like to swim and I don't really like water so far :P only thing I do is sunbathing or maybe wash my feet in the water :P Thanks anyway the idea:)))

  • Good old fashioned WALKING-
I need something I can DO without any equipment. I always have my FEET w/ me.

I have a build in treadmill on my property, which is 1/4 acre- including uphill and downhill slopes
which I can walk/run as slow or as fast as I want.

I have access to an office (closed on the weekends) with a LONG corridor for an indoor track for inclement weather
and our house is laid out with upstairs/downstairs with ample room to walk there too- and I can jog up the steps.

I park as far away from the stores as possible- and push the cart BACK INTO the store.

My key is to "trick" my body into exercising without it knowing about it. It tends to fight the idea
