Holiday boost?

Hey,
I'm going on holiday on the 10th of september, is there anyway I can boost my weightloss a little over these last few weeks?
I'm on a 1200 calorie diet, do a fair amount of exercise (1hour + most days due to commute) and eat back the majority of exercise calories. I'm loaing steadily at 1-2 lb a week (down from 175+ to 166 so far - weigh in tomorrow!) I know this is a safe amount, but was wondering what everyone else thinks? Maybe some metabolism boosters or something to kickstart it again?
Thanks

Don't eat back the calories you have exercised off and stick to 1200 calories - only for two weeks max. Good to take a multivitamin at the same time though and stick to low fat foods! Drink 2L of water a day to get rid of any extra fluid you may be holding onto and if you can get some toning exercises in for even 5 mins a day that will help before your holiday in terms of toning up!
Hope it helps!0 -
I know it seems really important to hit the best number you can before X date, but honestly, if you've found something that is working steadily for you, I wouldn't recommend messing with it - just my $.02 but a lot of people have a hard time just getting to the steady, regular loss in the first place- count yourself lucky and keep going!0

I am off on the 11th September (just booked it yesterday!)
I am pretty much at goal weight but I do need to tone up. I have a Birthday tonight and leaving drinks tomorrow but after that I plan to eat as clean as possible.
I will ban the booze, make sure I drink lots of water, exercise every day, cut back on carbs and refined sugar
Whilst I am away I plan to swim every morning for at least half an hour so I don't have to watch what I eat too much!
Have a fab time - where are you going?0 -
I'm going to Venice - my first proper holiday! I'm not going to worry about what I eat when I'm there, as I will be walking everywhere. Definately agree on the cutting out alcohol and upping the water. Not sure about cutting back on carbs though, I get migraines and filling up on carbs seems to help.
I hope you enjoy your holiday, where are you going?0 -
i'm off to Cyprus on September 11th. Last 6 weeks havent been great as my wife had an op so wanting to hit it hard as of tomorrow and cycle/walk loads.
Was hoping to hit 252 lbs by september 11th but alas at 276 now, i doubt it will be acheivable - however, i have come down from 319 since April0 -

That's fantastic nonetheless!!0 -
Venice is fab - and it would just be plain rude not to partake in the glorious food whilst you are there !!!
I portion control my carbs (weight pasta etc) but I couldn't cut them out totally.
Cyprus is also lovely.
We are off to the Canaries (picked a quiet resort on Lanzarote) for a week of sun and relaxation!0
