Hi All. 5/11/18
Started T.M.D today .. going to aim for 2 weeks on it .. did it before taking a break each week ... definitely worked for me before. After a water fast day this should be easy .... anyone wanna join in ??

Try eating food in the right quantities, instead of a fad diet or the yo-yo diet.5

The Military Diet and all it's previous names (it's had many at this point - using other organisations such The Cleveland Clinic's name without their permission, etc) has no connection to the military, it's just an assortment of low calorie foods that do nothing specifically to help you lose weight other than putting you into a high calorie deficit, you lose a bunch of water weight and then put it back on again when you return to eating normally. It's a crash diet and doesn't work long term.

No thank you. Once I started accurately tracking my calories, I found I didn't have to eat weird food combos or crash-diet-level calories to lose weight. Just regular, everyday foods I liked.8

Water fast and the military diet - I would be a serious *kitten* to live with and my husband would probably force feed me chocolate on day 2.13

Hot dogs and ice cream... they should rename it the toddler diet!

Have you given any thought to implementing some long term strategies to helping achieve your goals and sustain your success - rather than looking for short term fads like water fasting and the military diet - neither of which is going to result in more than temporary water weight loss?7

This "diet" has been around forever... yeah I have done it and lost weight and then I did it another time and did not lose weight. I prefer counting my calories, eating whatever I want within my macro goals and no have the yo yo effect of dieting.

This is one of the sillier made-up fad diets around. Really, if you're going to undereat, at least undereat nutrient-dense food to minimize the damage you're doing to your body.6
