Hey I'm doing keto for the second time. In my experience don't stress about protein numbers. I take in over 100 grams of protein a day, often closer to 200 grams and it doesn't knock me out of ketosis. I should note I am doing light weight lifting and cardio daily. Typical dinner for me is an entire package of power greens(those 5oz plastic tubs at the grocery store), and a package of white mushrooms sauteed in olive oil and 3 tablespoons of butter with a 8-12oz ribeye or NY strip. I prefer the ribeye for it's high fat but the NY strips are on sale lately so I add more butter mixed with a little worcestershire as a sauce. Just make sure your hydrating well and getting adequate sodium to absorb that water. Biggest helper for me is to make sure to do your all your eating/consuming within a 12 hour window and nothing but water for that other 12 hours. For example if you have your first cup of coffee at 8am or even a vitamin you need to cut off your intake at 8pm. I actually do a 9 hour window now but I started at 12. The real key is nothing but water for that other 12 hours of the day, even a cup of black coffee or a vitamin tells your body your eating again and will slow progress down for ya. Best of luck to ya!

Fasting isn’t necessary for a success loss. Your calorie deficit probably has a bigger impact, or at least that’s the case for me. (I average ~1.5lbs/wk with no workouts, no fasting, and not too much weight left to lose) I’d also be hesitant about water only cause it’s super important to watch those electrolytes, especially on keto! Otherwise super solid advice about fasting :)
