95 Lbs in 18 mos. but I’m older and it usually takes a little longer for us older folk.2

So far, 75 pounds in about a year, but for a full two months I just maintained because I was not as diligent as I could have been, so I really should be at 85 pounds lost if I was more dedicated haha2

Somewhere before MFP I lost 20 pounds in about 4 months. On MFP the First year I lost 65. Second year I lost 20. I am pretty sedentary though. I also have a pretty sluggish metabolism. On the upside I am maintaining well.2

30lbs in one year, maintained 9.

84lbs in 11 & a half months0

Started off around 350lbs. I've dropped 45 pounds in the last 6 month. Light exercise but a total overhaul in diet. Came off quick at first but I've hit a plateau the last 3 or 4 weeks and need to kick up the workouts. Slow and steady with more of a focus on changing my eating habits worked the best for me, good luck!
Anyone feel free to friend me, I'm always looking for motivation!1 -
Lost 25 @ a rate of 0.5 lbs per week. Kept it off for five so far.1

40 Lbs in 8 months or so0

84 pounds down in 2 years0

lost 51 a little over year... right now I am up about 8-9 pounds from then. Been doing this since on Aug. 2012 and trying hard to stop the upward swing currently in last couple years. It is a day to day/hour to hour struggle. Hang in there and just keep at it.0

I’m down 45 pounds in 105 days.
I’m 39, 6’4”, with a goal weight of 225. I started at 309. If the pace continues I should be done in slightly over 6 - 7 months with the calorie deficit, then a long journey of recomp and maintenance.0 -

1% of total weight per week is as fast as you should lose.
I am 10 months into what looks like it will be 16 months tom reach goal.
110 down, 50 to go0 -
20 months to lose 188#.1

So far 10 months to lose 30lbs. Still looking to lose 20 but am only 8lbs from a healthy BMI now, so I anticipate another 10 months or so.0

I’m estimating about a 10-12 months to lose about 55 lbs. I’ve been working at it for 10 weeks and have lost 19 lbs but I know it’s going to slow the closer I get to my goal.
I used to get discouraged by how long weight loss can take but now my thought is - I can be skinny in a year? That’s crazy! And remind myself that if I give up it’s just going to take even longer!1 -
A couple of years ago it took me about 5-6 months to lose 25 lbs with my rate of loss set to 1 lb a week. I lost pretty steadily.
Had a health problem and gained about 10 lbs back and losing has not been as smooth/linear this time. This month I have lost 1 lb a week though.
You can have a generally idea how long it will take you to get to your goal by your selected rate of loss and if you are actually losing at that rate.0 -
20ish pounds in 8 months but I'm at the low end of my goal, losing slowly. Also crossing back and forth from losing to maintaining pretty frequently.0

Lost 45 lbs in 6 months. Decided i needed a break so maintained for a year.1

Approximately 18 months, -187.4lbs. Still working on it, it's slowing down as I get lighter.2

Why did this get woo'ed?0 -
I think because it indicates you lost at more than the recommended 2 lbs a week.
But, I can only guess that you lost quite fast at the beginning, and then it evened out, or slowed.
It could also be a woohoo well done you.
Heck I get woos for the strangest posts. I used to wonder what I had done/said wrong, then realized it could be the woohoo, or even a scrolling error.
I scroll left handed and I have probably 'insightful-ed' a number of not too insightful posts.
Don't fret it.
Cheers, h.1 -
This time around? 24 lbs in 3.5 months.1
