What is your definition of "thin"?

Is it technically underweight, healthy weight, bones sticking out, or just thinner than you?

I think I see people as thinner than me as "thin" and people bigger than me as "a bit podgy". That definition hasn't changed with my weight either. My mental perception of normal seems to be whatever I happen to be.

To me, it is myself.. back in college. I was a ballet dancer, ate whatever I wanted and stayed tiny without effort. My pants never got "too small" they wore out. That is my definition.

To me the word "thin" doesn't imply healthy! It evokes an image of someone with no muscle tone, just sort of skin and bone!

"Slim" or "toned" sound a lot better to me!

I see 'thin' as having a low weight, and looking considerably smaller than myself. Realistically, I'll never associate with being thin, even if I ever am. Oh, body distortion!

I honestly just think of thin as having a flat stomach and no fat rolls, lol. That's all I want!!

Thin to me means nothing bulging out (muffin tops etc) and not being jiggly.

I see thin as underweight and not a healthy look, i agree that slim is a good place to be.

For me, it's not set weight, no set frame... it's just kinda I call it as i see it... how the person looks in their own body...
  • Thin to me is...thin! Healthy I suppose, very lean. To me 'thin' is healthy, where as 'skinny' is not. However, I know that some people use them interchangeably and that's cool :)
