You don't need luck, you just need a consistent calorie deficit which MFP can help you with.

MFP is a major tool in my weight loss! Since I started tracking all my food in MFP at the start of September, I’ve lost 19 lbs.

I am presently using mfp app without any problems. Is there something specific that’s a problem?

Hello , Trying to lose some weight, anyone having luck using this app.

Take a look at the Success Stories forum. Plenty of people have lost weight by simply eating less calories than they burn. It’s simple, but it’s not easy for some.

I wasn’t having any luck with MFP until a friend showed me how to use the nutrition button and look at grams of nutrients and macro percentages and how to set up goals for grams of fat, carbs and protein. Once I got that part right, my weight loss has been amazing. Even though all my food was raw and organic, I learned that I was eating too many quick carbs and not enough protein. I was eating 1800-2000 calories a day and I was always hungry. Now I am eating 1400-1600 and I feel full, no more food cravings. Getting the macros right is what made a big impact for me. Good luck!

I find the community is very inspiring as I get to know more people and share what we are doing with some support and alternative ideas or new options. Really cool. We are really more similar than dissimilar. Something simple as sharing your daily stats is really cool and I am always learning about health, fitness and unleashing the awesome me already inside of me. Feel free to connect.

Thanks to all for the comments, I am motivated and hope to lose 30lbs or more. I find the MFP a great tool in following the calories, Sodium and Sugars
