Check to see if the restaurant lists it's nutritional info on their website. If not, you may be able to find a similar restaurant that does. Then you can manually add it to your database.

Does the resturant have a website?
  • google the restaurant info...

if you know the calorie count just use the quick add on your food diary

    found this link...http://www.myfitnesspal.com/nutrition-facts-calories/carne-asada

maybe look for skirt steak or else just any steak w/marinade. Enjoy your dinner, but being the mexican that I am I know that food ONLY tastes good because of the amount of fat & salt!! Have a good dinner but drink lots of water!!

I would just check the ingredients one by one.. then add 50 calories for anything else they may have added you couldn't taste.

I just went here (my fav go to site):

    http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp

and entered : 'carne asada' as an ingredient and click on the 'all these words' radio button and got one hit:

"Rubios Carne Asada Dos Tacos" and it says it's 770 cals per serving but I don't know what a serving is at Rubio's Mexican restaraunt.
