Hello everyone!
I didn't get the chance to look around until now, and I just stumbled upon this message board. I have been logging for 7 days now. I think it would only be right if I introduce myself.
I'm 29 years old and has been overweight for 16 yrs of my life. What started out as baby fat just kept mounting up gradually. When I started working in the call center industry 5 years ago, things took a turn for the worse. I gained a total at least 50lbs from 2005-2009. I quit the call center late in 2009 and started working from home. With that, I was also hoping to start a weight loss program, but all I ended up doing was a yo-yo. I would lose 10 lbs and gain it back. That was probably because I had no system and no way of tracking my diet and my exercise.
I found MFP accidentally when my cousin, who has lost 40lbs from 02/11 to present, asked me to Google a local dish. I was amazed that MFP has such an extensive database that even included Filipino food. Best of all, it's free! I decided to get back on track. Just two days ago, I bought an exercise bike. With my new bike and MFP, I should be sprinting away to the ME I've always wanted to be.
I only have a few friends for now but they are awesome! I wish I could meet more inspiring people as the days go by. Please feel free to add me up. Cheers!

Hello! congradulations to change your lifestyle! I understand I did the yo yo for a while has well before I started this. I did this before but I didn't get motivated enough like i am now. I am hoping I get to stick with it this time. I LOVE this site I used to use caloirecount.com and I didn't like it, I didn't think that site was for me.0
