Have 3 fibroids; trying to lose weight around them

Hi there!
I've been carrying three fibroids since 2009--a big one, a medium one, and a little one--and have made the decision to keep my uterus and therefore keep them, even though they don't pay rent and make clothes-shopping, lying on my stomach, and head-to-toe profile shots a little dicey if not outright frustrating at times.
Because of my decision to keep them, I realize I'll reach a limit of what I can do, but I also know I CAN do some things, such as dropping my overall weight down and toning things up all around.
In 2009 I threw myself into a 100% macrobiotic diet for awhile, as well as a great exercising program. I was also unemployed at the time and was able to devote myself to getting good habits.
The weight dropped off, but this state of things didn't last, and I've been unable to get back to that level of discipline ever since. I think about it a lot and do those "THIS WEEK, I AM STARTING MY REGIME" declarations. A lot.
In other words: I'd love to buddy up! I have a goal and yesterday was the first day I turned to MyFitnessPal to help out.
As you read this, I hope good things happen for you today!

Get a myomectomy. You can keep your uterus. That's what I am doing. Those things will just get bigger. Get them out!!!!0

I'm sorry that you're dealing with health issues, that definitely doesn't help the whole weight loss thing out. My Fitness Pal is such a helpful and motivating (especially if you add a nice handful of friends!) resource. Best of luck to you0
