Hi, my name is Sandie. I’m a 48yo woman who has struggled with weight loss since my early 30’s. Basically since I became a diabetic. I had always been athletic & even played semi-pro volleyball in my younger years & had no problem staying fit & healthy. But when I turned 30, my health started to decline. I became diabetic for one; then at age 41 I was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis), spinal stenosis, & DDD (degenerative disc disease). I’ve had multiple back & neck surgeries over the years including a spinal cord stimulator & intrathecal pain pump inserted in my spine. I know those of you living with pain as well makes it difficult to follow any one workout routine faithfully. Although its hard at times, pain can be great motivator too! If I’ve learned anything over the last two decades, it’s to have much tenacity and perseverance! I’m thinking of entering a 12 week most improved-weight loss challenge where a trip to Mexico is the prize for the winner. The winners on average lose 40-50lbs. I know I can achieve this goal! Last year at this time I went from 200lbs down to 162lbs in that amount of time! And I wasn’t competing for a trip! Problem now is I’m ill. I’ve been sick with a stomach infection for the past several months+ that’s been causing me to bloat & not digest my food properly. This is an ongoing issue I have, hence the back weight gain of a year ago. It’s hard to select foods for my diet that won’t upset my stomach that aren’t going to jeapordize my success for weight loss! If anyone has any suggestions or words of encouragement, I’m all ears! I’d love to hear from you! I’d also love to have a weight loss buddy! To help me stay on track & keep me motivated! It’ll be a difficult road ahead, but it can be done! I’d help you in your goals, as well, in return! Hope to hear feedback soon... and good luck to you all! Thx!

I am 45 years old and have been working out regimentally for 1 year, 5 days a week. I quit smoking 8 months ago. I have not lost a lot of weight and when I do, I manage to gain it back. I weigh 200 lbs and my goal is 165. I also need a weight loss friend to keep me accountable. Although i do not have any major health issues that relate to yours.0
