What's your "go to" snack when you're feeling hungry but don't want to pack in the calories ? For example...watching a good movie on TV ?

My go to movie snack is airpopped popcorn with a few m&m's. During the day, I'll do a can of green beans, a 70 calorie tuna packet, or an apple (preferably Honeycrisp).

If I'm actually hungry I'll eat something like cereal. if I just feel snacky and want to munch on something because I'm watching TV or whatever I'll make myself some tea

Note that popcorn need not be air popped. 4g of peanut oil is all that is needed to pop every kernel on the stove top. Add popcorn salt and its not styrofoam.

Oil adds calories, any oil. Air popped doesn’t. I like it and it doesn’t taste like styrofoam to me. More popcorn to eat!

Glad you like it. There are other people who don't. And, my point was only that you can make stovetop popped corn for 35 calories (4g of oil). But, enjoy the air popped.

Unsalted peanuts are mine. But I have to measure them and limit to 2 tbsp.

Since I aim for macros, not calories, my snack depends on what macros I need.
High protein, low carb is the usual choice.
For example, cashew butter or hummus on carrot or bell pepper, for example.
Or a handful of roasted salted hulled sunflower seeds.
Dark chocolate and a hot drink sweetened with stevia.

I pop popcorn on the stove top using the new generation stone lined non stick pans. No oil at all required.

Hard boiled egg(1). It really does make hunger pangs go away.

    Works for me, as well!

I love a pack of tuna mixed with salt, pepper and pickles and will use cucumber as my crackers.
Low enough in calories I dont feel guilty after eating the whole bowl.

For TV watching, I like pretzels w/ a wedge of laughing cow cheese. The spicy one is my favorite.

I am really not a big snacker. If I am actually hungry, eggs are my go to and I'll cook one and roll it up with hot sauce on it, or eat a hard-boiled egg if I have one handy. If I just want something sweet, I will usually eat a few raisins and/or semisweet chocolate chips.

1% cottage blended in food processor with a sugar free chocolate pudding mix and a little milk 😋high protein and low calories.

    Tastes like cheesecake

Sound satisfying and helps with dairy

Sugar free jello, chocolate rice cake, unsalted roasted peanuts ( one serving put in a bowl away from the bag so I don’t indulge lol).

I will wrap ham or turkey lunch meat around a slice of red bellpepper to get the protein with some low fat cruch. Love me some carrots and hummus, or maybe a crispy, juicy apple with a bit of almond butter.
