You don’t have to eat that much cholesterol, or any cholesterol. The cholesterol number on MFP is a suggested upper limit (which may or may not be an appropriate cholesterol intake for you), not a minimum number you need to achieve.3

okay thx for that. I just read an egg has about 186 grams of cholesterol, so that is fine then. I will see what other foods have it, that are healthy.0

In addition to this, remember that many of the entries in the database are user entered, and not everyone pays attention to much more than calories and macros. So many entries might not accurately reflect nutrients. You do always need to check the entries you are using in the database to ensure the accuracy of any of the numbers you are concerned with tracking.1 -
Sodium, Cholesterol, and sugars are suggested upper limits. So the app is not encouraging you to eat that much, but rather not go above that amount.
That being said, new research has shown that cholesterol from food does not really have an effect on blood cholesterol levels. So that while eating cholesterol in food was long thought to be "bad", that's actually not the case and you don't really need to avoid foods high in cholesterol.4 -
Also nothing wrong with cholesterol (dietary). Dietary cholesterol has no effect on health or blood/ artery cholesterol levels. Unless predisposed or it’s a result of being overweight6

You don't. This is the suggestion for the upper limit, not the lower. If you eat 50 per day, great.0 -
At this point, more research is needed to determine whether dietary cholesterol alone raises blood cholesterol. The tricky part is that foods high in dietary cholesterol are also often high in saturated fats and a diet higher in saturated fats is associated with higher blood cholesterol levels. This is why it’s currently recommended to limit saturated fat in the diet, especially when it comes from processed and fried foods. Other sources of saturated fats are fatty meats meats such as sausage and bacon and foods containing dairy products like ice cream and cream-based desserts.
However, foods such as egg yolks and shrimp are higher in cholesterol but lower in saturated fats and can be included as part of a healthy diet.0
