the 30 day shed workout has really helped with my baby tummy. Pilates is good too as most of the exercise is focused around using the core muscles.

LOL. I don't have any other "befores" because yeah, I didn't like it so I wasn't going to photograph it.

    And after:

Turbo Fire (and overall weight loss) has really done wonders for my stomach.

BUT I just don't carry a lot of excess body weight in my stomach. It's all in my hips and thighs, which are still not good. I really don't think all moms can have flat stomachs after babies. A lot just start holding fat there, and / or have a lot of extra skin.
  • I hafta go and take a stomach pic for my after......hold on :D

Here is my before. I don't have any before's that show my bare belly.

....and here is a pic I took last week after losing 68 lbs total and completing the first 30 days of P90X.

As a side note I would like to say that I was pregnant with twins, so my stomach got stretched A LOT!
I never thought my stomach would look as good as it does now.

Good luck to you. You can do it!

Splitting of the rectus sheath is really very common during pregnancy. Women's abdominal muscles are formed slightly differently and the two sides can quite easily come apart due to the pressure of the uterus behind them. Once the offending cause (i.e. baby is removed) the muscles meet up again and usually heal together quite nicely :) so don't worry about them too much! Get a good ab workout programme sorted with your physio and firm them up a bit! Good luck! I am also in search of a washboard stomach (and I haven't had kids)

I don't have pictures. I seriously doubt mine will ever be flat. After carrying a 10.5 pounds baby with a prepregnacy weight of 220, I'm doomed. Ah well. It's life. I'll settle for feeling comfortable in a form fitting shirt, really.
