Not losing

Just need a bit of a boost, had abdominal surgery 6 moths ago so put on 10kg while recovering, now finding it super hard to lose. Even at 1200/day and not eating back all exercise calories the scales are barely moving.
I am wondering if my hormones have anything to do with it - I had my ovaries removed so went into early menopause and on HRT, and finding my weight is just sitting around my abdomen. Very frustrating. Doing 16/8 now in an effort to curb those calories, I weigh everything and eat mainly vegetables/protein/small amounts good carbs. Just want the scales to start showing a drop as it's hard to keep going!

Awww, I think you’re doing the right thing. Keep eating right and exercising and it will show in time. How do you feel otherwise? Maybe put the scale away for a couple of weeks. Scales are mean!! 😂0
