How to begin again?

Last Saturday, I got seasick and later carsick, and I ended up not being able to eat anything until wednesday. I decided to give myself a break from mfp as I am still a little weak. However, the past few days, I feel like I have been eating everything in sight. After not eating for so long, everything looks so yummy! I really don't want to lose the progress I have made in the past few months but I know I will if I keep this up. Any suggestions on how to restart and start losing again?

Your body is just recovering from starvation mode. Feed it nutrients like dark leafy greens, fruits and veggies! You can do it!

Start doing it again, right away.

Don't sweat what happened last week! Look ahead to tomorrow! Your overeating after NOT eating was a natural reaction. Now that you are probably starting to feel normal again, just get back into it!

Your body is recovering from being ill. After not being able to eat for all of those days, your body is hungry. Go ahead and eat - just try and make healthy choices so you're feeding your body right. Eventually it'll catch up and you'll be back on track.

You just have to want it. I'm in the same boat you're in, but for different reasons. Just want it!! And know it's not about how many times you fall off the wagon... it's how many times you get back on and keep going! You've got this.
  • are you getting enough water? I read somewhere that people often think they're hungry but in reality they are dehydrated or thirsty.. just a thought :) good luck, you can do this!!

Just start from the beginning, one day at a time. Log everything, get back on it!
