I sat here for nearly an hour typing a long, detailed account of the last year, describing what I did and how I felt, trying desperately to put the experience of this weight loss journey into words. But everything I typed, every positive statement, every time I used "changed my life," it all sounded cliche and two dimensional, because these successes are self-evident. Every promise written for the future, for continuing goals, for plans and strategy rang hallow, as I knew I'd rather just show you what I was capable of. So I deleted it, and it dawned on me that the bravado, the goals, the exercise, the regimen, the milestones the whole of last year and how I felt about it all could be summed up with just two words:

Changed. Forever.
