I work a lot during the work week sometimes I’m only able to work out 2-3 times a week and due to low iron my energy is pretty low as well. Is it bad I don’t feel like working out but I also don’t want to gain weight. It’s the cardio hot exercises I have a hard time doing anymore.

Nope, it's not bad. Working out and losing weight are only slightly linked... easy to do one without the other.

It's fine, as long as you are not eating more than you burn you will not gain.

As others have said, avoiding a caloric surplus the key for avoiding weight gain, exercise isn't mandatory.

However, if a medical professional has diagnosed you with low iron are you actively trying to adjust your diet in include iron and/or have you considered an iron supplement? If low iron is actually the sole cause that may help your energy levels and allow you to exercise as you desire.

Do what you can. Any exercise is better than none. And you can lose weight without it.
