@avidkeo I just wanna start off and say thank you so much for you’re constant advice I really appreciate it! And about the running store what would they be called? Oh wait nvm you said you’re not from here well would googling running store help?
@apullum okay I understand thank you! I really appreciate all of the advice and support!
@spiriteagle99 thank you for the link! I’ll look into it!!
@kirstyfoy I’m not sure how to add people or none of that on this yet but I’m definitely interested it beats running alone 😂 Thank you!
@briansharpe I basically ran at such speeds and incline cause I’m not entirely brand new at all of this like in terms of gym and active hobbies I try to be as active as possible when I’m not working so I figured I could manage a rough incline and speed but the reason I put incline so high is for mountain hiking And woah it ain’t ever gotten that chilly here I think lowest it got here is possibly 30 it doesn’t snow here but twice every 10 or so years 😂

Pardon me if I have missed something, but: You hate cardio, but you want to run a marathon.
That makes absolutely no sense.
You realize, I hope, that in order to train for a marathon -- or any kind of appreciable distance -- you are going to have to dedicate your life to running (Ie, cardio) for a significant amount of time.
Why would you want to go out and do hour long runs, for instance, when you hate it? Over and over by the way. And, if you are really serious about a 26.2-mile race, go for two-hours runs. Again, a number of them.
Find something you like.
Something that you will look forward to doing when you get up in the morning.0 -

This. It's a very good point. Also a marathon is a HUGE undertaking. I just spent 4 months training for a half marathon and that involved running 5 days a week, 4 were around 45 mins and a long run on the weekend that started at an hr (10k) and increased to 2hrs a couple of weeks before the half. This was excellent training for me and I completed the half in just over 2hrs. But it required a lot of consistent running in all conditions. I'm also one who gets up early - about 5:30am - to get my run in.
I did this because I enjoy running and like having a goal to work towards. If you don't like runniy, you will probably fail because it's awful if you don't like it. Hell it's awful if you do most runners would say!

Thank you for this! Could you recommend any audiobooks 😂 I know you don’t know what I like but I guess I can shorten it Thriller, mystery, crime, fantasy? Stuff like that I’ve never done the whole audiobook thing at all
I developed a habit of listening to audiobooks a few years ago, and not only while running but also walking anywhere and doing anything manual like cooking, cleaning etc. I really helps me to feel more productive and even when I don't have time to actually read, I still "read" technically. At first I had a difficult time concentrating on it, but with time it really became a habit and I put my head phones on automatically when I do anything active that doesn't require concentration. I start a new book as soon as I finish one and I've listened to close to a hundred of books now.
I've created a list of books for myself and just go through it, but it's mostly classics in different languages that I didn't read or read when I was to young to understand them. So I doubt I can recommend you anything in particular since we probably don't have the same taste.
But I think it's super important to find book voiced by good actors since it affects so my much how you perceive the book and how interesting it is to you. And don't listen to a book if it bores you. The more you enjoy a book, the easier it will be to exercise.

@oat_bran I apologize for my late response lol the weekends are the only time i rarely work and I see well I love learning I consider myself very teachable but I’ll definitely look into a few tomorrow during lunch thanks for the advice and I’ll try my best to find a good voice actor 😂0
