Ladies: An Underwear Question

I have for a long time now worn Avenue microfiber brief cut undies. Now i am down to the 14/16 size and have no idea what to do when they get too big (and it is starting) since the only places I ever used to shop were Lane Giant and Avenue. A problem I am HAPPY to have since I started in 22/24's. But I am lost in the "regular" sized world....so? What kinda panties?

    I used to be a Victoria's Secret girl so I was excited to be back in sizes they carry. Lane Bryant was my go to for bigger panties, they carry 12/14s I think.

    I'm a bra and panty snob. I need to match, they need to be cute and girlie. So mostly I wear thongs or cheekies etc. I have two drawers filled with panties :o And probably a dozen bras that go with them. Luckily my husband doesn't mind.

    I once said I knew I was doing this for real when it wasn't that my pants were falling off but that my panties were falling off LOL!! it's was a big NSV :P

    I wear silk or that meshy stretchy material I can't STAND cotton underwear they make my skin crawl lol it's a bit over the top but I can't help it xp

    I buy them at JCPenny, target, or victoria secret

    im a la senza fiend!
    some of the newer lingeraie stores are the best places to go
    they have all of the soft panties, they may not be brief like your used to
    but they are very comfy, colorful, and did I mention comfy??
    ive been buying stuff their since I can remember

    I love Victoria's Secret!! I like anything from Thongs, to Bikini, to Boyshorts. =) I lovvveee cotton undies though! Try the ones at V.S. if you can! I still buy underwear elsewhere as well, but like most of V.S.'s stuff! Congrats on all your weight loss!

    I say get sexy panties. They will make you feel great! I had always bought the "granny panties" (white cotton briefs size 10). Now that I'm in a size 6 panty, I am experimenting with color and styles. Now I like the bikini, and have recently discovered the boy briefs (so comfy) and lacy bra and panty sets! There's no end to all the possibilities! :)

    I don't wear 'em. I don't see the point. They are uncomfy and I'm just not a fan. lol

    None. I gave them up 5 years ago. Only wear them with dresses/skirts or jeans with holes in them :D

    I am no help on finding nice undies. I just grab some cheapies from the department store since they rarely get used.

    If you go to JC Penney, Macy's, or a good store where they have experienced helpers in different departments, they will measure you and be able to tell you, OR simply measure your waist and hips, head to WalMart or another store and get yourself the one's you like in your size. So many to choose from.

    I would not get cotton panties to workout, they just ride up (wedgie status).
    But yay!!! This is a NSV :) I say just shop around "regular" people stores and find the store that's you and your go to for your wardrobe malfunction due to weight loss!

    Welcome to the world of Victoria secret! lol....when I was that size I liked bikinis or high cut. I liked the just my size brand but I don't know if those come in smaller sizes.

    I wear Victoria's Secret thongs for everyday and bikinis for school. I wear a small. They are very cute! You should shop there!

    I know what you mean...now that I have lost weight, I am branching out...I really like boy shorts and I even bought some thongs...woohoo! It really does make you feel better...weird!!

    I basically only buy Shopko boycut panties. (Not boyshort, boycut). I buy ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE from Shopko. Sad, I know, special trip for undies.

    My problem is that a true brief hits my under my arms, a low-cut brief is ALMOST there... and a bikini is too short. I have a B shaped stomach, so the band has to hit right at the dip. These work. If they ever change them I will cry.

    That said, I have them in all the HAlloween patterns. :laugh: This makes me happy.

    fashionbug.com they have cute junior, misses and plus sizes of bras and panties. The sizes in panties seem to run a little large though.

    Hanes makes a really comfy, nice n stretchy microfiber panty. Love 'em.

    Can't wait until I hit my goal weight.. my reward is going to be a few bras with matching panties at Victoria's Secret! Maybe a sexy garter belt too.. woo hoo!
