Suggested Calorie Goal seems a bit high :/

I have have just joined MFP and filled in my profile information. Based on my start weight of 113.7kg (250.66 lbs), MFP has suggested I consume 5,104 calories per day to loose 1 kg per week. In spite of the fact that I selected the lowest activity level option available, I feel this recommended calorie intake is quite high, has anyone else encountered this?

No that does not seem right. Are you sure you didn't enter a typo in any of your data (age, weight, height)? That is the only thing that would trigger a calorie goal like that.

My first guess is that you entered your took your height in feet and weight in pounds and entered them in meters and kilograms. If you were 5 meters tall and weighed 250 kilos, that's around the calorie goal MFP would generate for you.

Any chance you accidentally selected a goal of gaining 1 kg per week instead of losing 1 kg per week?
