I just bought a WW body analysis scale put out by conair at Target. I'm loving it so far. :) And it does not vary wildly! Moderately affordable at $40.

Get a bodyfat caliper instead. Scales are almost worthless unless you're extremely obese. Don't focus on a weight instead focus on a healthy BF percentage.

I have the Tanita Innerscan Body Composition Scale BC533. It's very accurate weight-wise and gives you several metrics to track. It also has 4 user settings. I'm extremely pleased with it:

When I ordered the scale, I also bought a MyoTape tape measure. Makes it easy to take your measurements solo:

I got the same last weekend on offer at Argos £17.99. Apart from yesterday's blip (see my blog  ) I think they are as accurate as any other.

While weight is of course important, I feel for me, personally, it's my measurements that will tell the true story - if I could loose 10" (25cm) from chest and waist I'd be soooo happy  (and then another 5" (12cm) would be the cherry on the cake (that I would now be able to eat a small slice of  )
