I have a sling that I have been carrying my little guy in, but I would like something that that is a little more sturdy. He is 29 pounds. I just want to use it for exercise, grocery shopping, walking the mall, I don't do any hiking... so... any ideas? Something not so much, not too cheap, sturdy, comfy for mom, dad and babe. Thanks in advance ;)

Dont know if you have them over there, but here you can get a brilliant one called ergo.

I spent a whole lot of money on one of those wrap type slings when my guys were babies and I really wish I had just gotten one of these, Id still be able to use it on my 4 year olds now - talk about good value for money.

I still use the sling, I just need something for my husband to use. He doesn't like using the sling because he says it hurts his shoulders. I like the sling, doesn't bother me :) Thanks. Going to check out that site right now.

The baby bjorn ones are good, but the upper weight limit isnt fantastic so you cant use them when your kids are bigger.

There was no way I was putting out all the cash for a baby bjorn, so I got a Snugli. I don't remember what the upper weight limit is, but by the time your kid get that heavy, he/she will be squirming so much and grabbing so much stuff that you won't want to wear them anyway.
