Well, I'll try something and see how it goes. This is something I do from time to time on Facebook, however there I post something and let my friends debate it out for a bit. However, to adapt this to a forum, we'll do it a bit differently.

I am going to post a question in the format of "Why should I like <blank>?" The next person to respond will give me a reason to like that that thing and then post one of their own. The next person will answer that one and so on. This might work, it might not. But hell, let's just find out!
