I have avoided counting calories for years but to drop this last 20 lbs I felt it may be the only way. It’s azaming how much more aware this makes me about what and how much I’m putting into my body. Looking forward to the results. Good luck everyone.

Welcome to MFP! Congratulations on a great start! Tracking your intake is amazingly effective! If you don;t have a scale, consider getting one. A small digital scale with a tare function is very helpful. "Tare" lets you zero out weight of container, lets you zero out each time you add a new ingredient (to a salad, for example), and makes it easy to track how much you took out of a container (the peanut butter jar, for example).
Best wishes on your 20 pound goal! Do the work, and it will happen!0 -
