Just introducing myself...

Hi everyone! I just started on myfitnesspal this past Tuesday and really love the site. I like that it makes me accountable for what I eat every day. I have been honest with my food diary and sometimes can't believe what I ate...I guess that is the point. My sister introduced me to this site because they are using it at her work as a tool for a weight loss challenge. I have a lot of weight to lose....123lbs! I have made myself not look at the scale but once a week, now that I have started this experience. I hope next Tuesday doesn't let me down. I have stayed within my calories since I started and have exercised 50 minutes every day since Tuesday. I feel good about this plan! Wish me luck!

    I love to give tips and they are:
    1) Log it BEFORE you eat it, this can help you make wise choices :tongue:
    2) Weigh and/or measure everything, my eye was much larger than actual amounts :noway:

    I just joined recently myself. This seems to be a great site and I love the food diary. I am terrible about writing everything down so I am hoping this will help me. Good Luck!

    Good luck!!! you can do it. My sister introduced me to this site this week also and so far I am doing good but can't find the time to get online and enter my foods but I am staying within my calories. I went to the grocery store and bought myself enough weight watchers meal to last a week, this way I it makes it easier for me to stay within my limits. I got the idea from my sister who does Nutrasystem. She gets her food in the mail and it works for her. So keep up the work, I want to lose 50 lbs.
