    Morning Sieggie!

Oh they most certainly are, though my weekends are really whenever I'm scheduled off from work and those days are never the same. Surprinsgly, I do have this weekend off this time around so it really is my "weekend". I think my biggest problem is that when I'm not working I'm not on a schedule to follow so I don't really know what to do with myself on the off days which can sometimes lead to bad choices - (for example: mindless snacking when not hungry).

I think that'll be my goal for this weekend! One of them anyway the other goal 30 minutes of exercise.

    Weekend Goals

    Goal 1) No mindless snacking

Goal 2) 30 minutes of exercise.

Will be checking in throughout the day to see how all of you all are doing!

Let's make it a great day!

    Good Morning MM,
What a great morning it has been so far....up and exercised, healthy breakfast, dog to groomers, load of laundry in, dishes washed, dishwasher going...and I have the rest of the day.
My goal for today is to get food prepared for next week. I find I do much better when I have my plan in place for my school lunches and dinners.
Wishing everyone a great start to Saturday with smart choices all day.

Good morning everybody!! Wow Lori, look at you go this morning, way to get moving! I'm off to the farmer's market and then back home to exercise and then off to a McDonalds play place with the kids (hopefully I can convince them we don't need to eat while we're there) My DH is working nights this weekend so it won't actually feel like the weekend for me until Monday and then we're leaving for camping for a few days and then of to a 50th wedding anniversary celebration. That should be challenging. I'll try and check in with you guys throughout the week next week but it may not be daily as my in-laws have a really slow computer which makes anything internet related VERY painful. But until then, I'll be good and stay on track. Have a great day everyone and I'll check in again later.

Astermarie, that's ambitious! 2 work-outs and on a Saturday to boot! Good for you! Hope you're all doing great today. My girls DID want lunch at McDonalds today but I did reasonably well. I only ate a little bit of their stuff so I remained under 300 cal for the meal. Not too bad and I didn't feel deprived so all in all, a decent choice. I'm also doing good in my water for the day, I'm already at 6 cups today. Have a great weekend everyone and talk to you all soon.

Great Saturday everyone! I didn't go missing...just up to Watch Hill, RI to take my 2nd cousin out for lunch. Went to the BEAUTIFUL Ocean House right on the Atlantic. Husband and I made healthy choices for lunch..salad and then a seafood mixture in a tomato based broth. Hopefully it wasn't that bad diet wise. No exercise today, will make up for it tomorrow. Have a great evening everyone!

    Evening!

Today was pretty awesome for me all around. Did my exercise for 30 minutes and I didn't mindless munch on things when I wasn't hungry! Still kinda struggling with breakfast but maybe I'll try another omlette tomorrow. We'll see in the morning for that one.

Hope all you all have had a lovely day.

Sieggie - Lunch sounds delicious! Love seafood.

    Hi Everyone!!

Happy to see you all checking in...its great to see and just makes it so much easier to stay on track. Today started with a bang...got up and did 20 minutes of The Firm...Ive bought many exercise tapes....The Firm is by far the best. That is saying a lot from me as I have a VERY small attention span. 20 minutes 3x a weeks...its great!! Then I was off to do laundry. Then I cleaned house.

I wanted to see how many calories one can burn doing house cleaning (one of those house cleanings where you are down on your knees scrubbing the floor) so I strapped on my heart rate monitor and cleaned for 2 hrs...and at the end I BURNED 917 CALORIES...I was amazed.

Now between my 20 minutes of the The Firm and house cleaning, I burned 1140 calories....and had almost 2500 calories to eat including my exercise calories....would you guys eat them back?? I have 1300 hundred left...but dont know if I can eat all that by the end of the night. Any suggestions!

Everyone is doing great and keeping on track.

    See everyone tomorrow!!

Eat if you're hungry but otherwise leave it be. Or if you want a special treat have a special treat. That's my opinion anyhow.

Wow Maritza! I can't believe scrubbing floors is healthy for you! kind of disappointing actually lol! If you're hungry then eat some of it, but I don't know if I would eat all of the extra calories though. I hear ya about the firm. I have been doing the firm for about 15 years and I always seem to some back to it. Which videos are you doing now? Is it the Firm Express? I was just looking at the trailer for it online last night. Next time I have a few extra bucks laying around I might have to buy the system. How many calories do you burn doing 20 min of The Firm? Just curious. Well, sounds like we had another good day, Yeah for all of us!!

    Joanne,

I will probably eat about 400-500 for dinner as I am not starving.

I am doing the which I think is the latest dvds -- Thin in 30 and I love it. It quick and it really does work you out and you feel it. I burn any where from 250 - 325 cals. I tend to burn more when I am doing the sculpting vs. cardio video. Burn even more doing the sculpt/cardio video.

    Love them!
