Never hurts to simply switch things up..! With exercise and diet. Add new routines and recipes into the mix. Intermittent fasting can also help shake things up.2

how long have you been at this plateau? how much more weight did you want to loose?
did you update your stats in MFP to see if the recommend caloires changed?
do you weigh and carefully log every single calorie?
Plateaus happen to most of us and it's usually just a question of being patient if we are accurately weighing and logging and staying in a calorie deficit. but sometimes as we get closer to our goal, we need to be more careful about logging. little errors or opp's (that we ALL make) will suddenly matter where they did not before.

If your plateau is a week or two, don't do anything - it's perfectly normal. Your body doesn't work on a schedule. If it's been several weeks, tighten up your logging. As you lose weight, you have less and less wiggle room. And logging errors that didn't make much difference when you have 40 lbs to lose can be a bigger problem when you have 20. Use the food scale more, double check the entries you are using in the database have the right calories, do a gut check about logging everything.
It also helps some people to take a structured diet break every 3 months or so. Two weeks, maintenance cals, increased carbs. There's a whole thread about it, I can't link on my phone, but it's "Of refeed and diet breaks". Hang in there :drinker:1

I think the key is to not give up and keep pushing forward. Sounds cliche, but some things take time.0
