I'm jumping back into a strict meal and workout plan after neglecting fitness for a little bit and I need people to hold me accountable! My boyfriend usually helps me with this stuff but when I fall off the wagon he's kind of an enabler. 😂
Anyone in the same boat?! Or anyone willing to call my a** out on a regular basis? 😁

A word for your boyfriend: In the guy's position this can be difficult. If he makes a habit of proposing things that are destructive to your goals, then you should have a serious talk with him about what you're trying to accomplish and how important it is that he help, not hinder. Make clear that you need his cooperation and support.
But there's a fear, I think, that a guy speaking up when you appear to stray from your intended path . . . he may worry you'll be guilty/depressed/mad at him for pointing out your error(s). If you think this is an issue, then you should promise him you won't get mad for any feedback that's given with your health/fitness in mind. Also, I would test him once or twice to make sure he will offer the feedback you need to hear.
That said, I can do accountability. Friend me if you want to.1 -
He stays in great shape for work so he definitely motivates me. It's just the days when I'm tired (Mom of 3) and I'm whining about wanting chocolate or donuts he just tries to make me feel better by telling me to treat myself... which ends up being most days. 😂 I take responsibility though, I know it's up to me to make better choices.
I think it is just what you said, I'm sure he would feel bad about saying "hey put the snack down and work out"
I'm sure most guys would be afraid to say that to their s/o! Lol
Thank you! I will add you!1 -
Hi, I'm a single Mom of a 9 year old boy. I just began the Keto lifestyle and so far.. really enjoying it. Challenge to make a separate meal (or meals,he has a hollow leg)can be difficult. In the first few days, cravings were terrible. Now, not so bad. One thing I don't enjoy doing.. Depriving my self. I work for a my $, if i want an Iced cap at Tim Hortons, then I will.. And, I will use cream too lol I'm sure your boyfriend isn't intentionally trying to sabotage your eating, once in awhile, its okay to eat BAD..Just regain your composure and start again!! Good Luck
