    Do you think meeting your goal weight will make you happier? No. it will make me feel healthier. I cannot delay happiness till I am a certain size. That is conditional love. I will not say, "I will be happy when I am 5 lbs lighter or 10 lbs lighter or when I am at my goal weight. That is postponing loving myself. I want to remind myself to love myself exactly right now, be happy right now and enjoy the journey rather than postponing happiness and loving of myself until I reach a certain weight. That is why I chose the heart symbol for my ticker. To remind myself: Love myself no matter what.
    Yes, I'll be more content, proud of myself when I reach my goal weight. But, not happier, I am happy now doing something great for my life. ( sorry for long response, this question HIT to my core.)
    How do you plan to keep it off? by setting new goals for myself. To aim for better stamina, better sports performance, flexibility, agility, there's always something to be improved upon.

    What are some of your short-term weight loss goals? Reach 165, then, 160, then, slowly into the 150's
    What is your ultimate weight loss goal? Reach 135 slowly but surely. It's not reallly a physical thing as much as a mental thing to let my mind adjust to the idea that my body is ready to change. It's really my mind that is holding on to the overweightness. So, doing it in small steps is good.
    Are there traces of diabetes or heart disease in your family history? Nope and I don't want to be the first for the family.
    Are there any family members that are obese or morbidly obese? Nope. And as of this past week, I'm out of that range also. I moved from obese to overweight. I'm ever grateful.

    Do you have a lack of motivation? Sometimes, not all the time. Having a pedometer really helps since I got it in Jan/09. What really motivates me is sports. I play every week. And performing well in sports really gets me going. And when I exercise, I think of how every little movement I do will translate me to getting the ball in sports better!!
    Are you self-conscious? Not when I'm walking. A little when my picture is taken. I try to remember though, that I'm celebrating life and spending time with family and friends and enjoying life. The camera can only capture size. It cannot measure joy of life.

    Motivations? My wedding, my health, my fiance, my polar F6.
