Sugar on My Fitness App diary

If I followed the maximum recommendation for sugar intake at 82 grams per day on the My Fitness Pal app, it would translate to 66 pounds of sugar per year. Maybe the recommendation should be revised down considerably.

    As said above, it includes all sugars, not just added ones. You don't have to stick to it, you can set your own goals. Recently when I had to cut out added sugar prior to a blood test, my sugar level in my diary for that day was still around 40 because of naturally occurring sugars in my food.
