Adoption is finally happening!

I feel like I need to shout out to the moon and back that we FINALLY got to see our future daughter!!!!

I'm so excited, it's been such a long journey, and now everything is being thrown at us super quickly so we can get her for the holidays. We saw her yesterday for the first time since we first met her on Oct 21st, after beginning this journey on September 13th, 2016.

We get to see her 3 more times before Christmas eve, then get her over night christmas eve and Christmas day. We're both over joyed to have her and can't wait to include her in our family legally through the court. 16 years old, full of personality and love, and just perfect for our family.

It's been a crazy long journey, especially since we never even thought we were going to be adopting a 16 year old when we first started. But she's perfect for our family, and we're so stoked to see where it leads us.
