Not sure..I don't do resolutions. Why wait for the new year to try and change?
Maybe..I'll try to be a bit more open to others. I doubt that will happen.1 -

I believe having a New Years Resolution is fine. Of course you can make changes at anytime, but if there is something to help motivate change, like a certain date, or event, than use it. Change can only happen when someone really wants it, but if there are certain motivating factors for a jumpstart.....have at it6 -
I don't make resolutions, per se. I chose something to focus on . 2018 my focus was "gratitude". It has changed my outlook.6

Good ones I think also I will work on being kinder in general0

Probably the same as last year... to maintain my current weight, run 600 miles by the end of the year and take care of my body so that I feel “bikini ready” throughout the entire year no matter what month it is2

My goals are seemingly specific but all have a reason behind them.
Two areas of my life I want to focus on are my eating habits (I eat waaaay too much sugar, am lazy with cooking so tend to buy junk) and my tendency to put things off/ live in the future (ie. spending all winter looking forward to spring, waiting until my skin is clear before I'll go to the gym etc, so in other words I'm always waiting for perfect conditions that don't exist!)
With these in mind some of my goals are:- Reduce my sweet treats to one small thing after lunch and one small thing after dinner (still sounds like a lot but it's a big reduction for me!)
- Use different ways of exercising in each season (i.e. every year I say I'll start running or going to the gym. When it's cold and dark and wet in January, the last thing I want to do is force myself outside so I'm planning to use yoga, pilates and bodyweight exercise to keep me a bit more active during the months from the comfort of my own home, in my pjs when I'd rather not move at all)
- As soon as it is light enough in the mornings or evenings (weather permitting)- sit in the garden, with a cup of tea and just sit. Listen, watch and relax for 10 mins. Alternatively go for a slow walk through our local park- not with the intention of exercise but just to watch the world as it is in that moment.
- Guilt free, seasonal treats. Not just talking about Christmas choccies (although they are included). But one day a month, I'm going to enjoy something seasonally appropriate and totally guilt free. Rather than spend all of April eating creme eggs and feeling sick and stodgy, I'm going to enjoy those Easter treats. A luxurious hot chocolate in January with ALL the toppings, rhubarb crumble in spring, a full, sticky BBQ in July and apple pie with homemade custard in October. I tend to go either 'no, I can't have any of those' and miss out, or I go OTT too often and feel awful. So I'm aiming for balance.
2018 was a year of pretty big life changes for me, I want 2019 to be a year of enjoying where I'm at in life without feeling pressure to constantly be thinking 'what next'. I'm only 21 so a lot of my life has been people asking 'what do you want be when you grow up?', 'Which university are you going to go to after college?', 'what job are you going to get after university?'. I've always been thinking 'what next?' and now I've finished with education and have the security of a full time job, I want to appreciate it, enjoy it and not think 'where do I progress?' yet because there's currently no rush. A year of balance and peace, not one of extremes and stress.

I have decided that "Beauty" will be my watch word for 2019. Really seeking out the beauty in nature, in everything no matter how pedestrian.2

Finish remodeling my house and do better with rolling with the unexpected difficulties that will inevitably keep coming up along the way.
There are several things I'd like to teach/work with my kids on, specific to their ages/developmental stages.
Get better control over my eczema.2 -

I don't make resolutions but I may adopt this idea. My SO is super argumentative and I have to stop letting him pull me in. I need to focus on "peace"... smile and nod.2 -
A year without beer1

So I was thinking about the keto...3

To continue to change my mindset and work hard.

Stopped drinking a couple months ago. Going to go forward with that.
Noticed a loss in weight when I stopped drinking, so I hope to go forward with that too.
Also, going to start cleaning house and getting rid of those things that I don't want to move when we retire in July.2 -
I need to clear out some junk as well house is full of things we no longer use0
