Okay! So let's check in.
I gained a couple pounds over the last few weeks =( I am 145 right now and I am going to set a goal of two pounds for next week. We must all remember that if we are gaining muscle the number on the scales may remain the same or decrease slowly, so take your measurements as well for a more accurate way to tell that your body is changing.

My Measurements as of today:

Start: February 17th, 2009

Bust: Start: 36in,
Chest: Start: 35in,
Waist: Start: 31.0in,
Hips: Start: 35.5,
Arms: Start: 11.5in,
Thighs: Start: 24in,
Calves: Start: 14in,

Okay! Let's go team =D

Did day two of level 1. Is the idea to do each level for 10 days each or just up the level when you feel you are ready? Some of level 1 isn't too bad. Some of it is killer!

I weigh myself at the gym every Friday, so I'll post weight and measurements then.

    Happy Shredding!

I had my running buddy do it today. She thought is was real tough also. It just shows us the plain hard truth. We can run like there is no tomorrow, 13 miles and not even sore. But 20 min with Jillian kicks us in the rear. You can run from Jill but you can't hide; )

Absofreakinglutely Right! When I started the Shred 3 weeks ago, the only thing I could compare it to was the morning after a half marathon. My legs were like jelly and I could barely get down the stairs. 3 weeks into it and it is much easier but she still kicks my butt. I'm considering investing in more Jillian DVDs because I can really see a change in my body.

Did the shred again today. I am sure I will be feeling it tomorrow. I ordered more B.L. dvd's on Amazon. Can't wait to try them.

    Hi Shredders

My knees are giving me problems since starting the shredding DVD. I think I will stick with the Biggest Loser Bootcamp DVD for now until things improve. Good luck all:flowerforyou:

I have the 30-day shred too but currently am doing the BL Cardio Blast, BL Weight Loss Yoga (every morning) and alternating the Blast with the BL Power Sculpt. I LOVE  their DVD's! I recommend them without hesitation! :flowerforyou:
  • Wow! That's all I can say. Since Christmas I've been eyeing the DVD but after reading lots of reviews on it I decided to pick it up. Tuesday I did the warm up and FIRST strength training before realizing that my upper resp. infection was going to kill me if I didn't stop half way through the first cardio session.

Today is Friday and my legs are still sore.

Have any of you done the Shred long enough to see results?

I know all those explosive moves are killers. Plus, those rock star jumps make me feel about 50 lbs heavier than I am.
