Food scale or bathroom scale? They all have inaccuracies. The most important thing is to be consistent in how you use it.

I have a digital - I would highly recommend one vs the needled ones. I think mine is a Bauer? (spelling)

I have had mine for several years and don't even know what brand it is, but I just use one like this that I got at Bed Bath and Beyond.

It consistently weighs me in-line with my weight at the doctor's office. Keep in mind that the overall trend (losing, maintaining, gaining depending on your goals) is more important than the exact number.

Like I said above, the most important thing is how you use the scale. Weigh yourself naked, first thing in the morning after using the restroom. Put the scale on a hard, flat surface (linoleum, wood, tile, etc.) avoiding things like grout lines and carpet/rugs. If you can't keep the scale in the same spot at all times, then be sure to place it in the same spot every time you use it. Store it flat if possible, not on it's side.

Thanks will look in to both. It’s just hard to find an accurate scale.
