When I got married 3 years ago I was fit as a fiddle. Ran at least 3 times per week, did other sports like tennis or swimming, skiing etc. And lifted regularly.
I married someone who is into sports but not into the gym....I got a high stress job...my beautiful daughter was born last January...etcetc. Let’s just say all these life changes combined with my putting more food in my mouth, and going out for drinks regularly has equaled into me packing on the pounds. I’ve gained about 20+ish pounds.
I realize I need a lifestyle change at the point to get back to where I was, the gym a part of my daily life as were salads and drinking maybe only weekends. Unfortunately I am worried that all the stressors are still in my life (ie, baby, lack of sleep, lack of time, job). I know I am probably being hard on myself but I can’t even run more than 15 minutes and I have lost a lot of my fitness gains that it took me five + years to get!
Does anyone have any tips? Sorry if it sounds like excuses, but moms especially, with small babies it’s so hard because my schedule essentially revolves around THEM.
Thanks in advance!!

Just start with what you are eating. Maybe even track for a week or two with no specific goal. Then focus on weighing everything and staying in your calorie limit. Try not to focus on what you used to do - just set some reasonable goals for where you are now. If you don't have the time now to exercise, don't sweat it. What you eat will impact your weight loss more. If you have a bit of time for exercise, try something you can handle - even if it's just a brisk walk around the block. And then build up slowly. You've got this! Don't be too hard on yourself. Just keep moving forward.3

You deserve to give yourself all sorts of grace when it comes to relearning how to be a human again.
Park time is great, if you have one close enough by. I started walking about 3/4 of a mile with a stroller to our park when my baby was 7 months old, and now we go every day. He adores it and we both get exercise . It's great for both of you if it's a viable option.0 -

My jogging stroller was a lifesaver...I could take the dog and the baby on a brief jog a few times a week... great stress reliever and I found my babies to be very content getting strolled along... would often fall asleep. I used my stroller through the course of several kids and eventually was jogging with baby while older kids biked along. This expanded into jogs to school playgrounds nearby (with baby in the stroller) where we could stop and play freeze tag or I could hit some chinups/pullups/etc. at the playgound while the older kids climbed and played. My jogging stroller opened up a ton of possibilities.
My stroller is worn out now... but our wagon now serves a similar function for my toddlers. Except now, some of my kids are much bigger and I can't keep up via jogging so now I pull the wagon while peddling my bike. If you want to stay fit I think you can find a way. Of course, this might not work so great in some areas but sure worked well for me in the suburban places I've lived.
Best wishes!1
