Weight swings

Anyone have large weight swings from day to day?
I am sometimes 4 pounds different from the day before
I know some swings are normal but mine seems excessive
I have gotten down to my goal weight of 183 after losing 44 pounds
I have maintained that weight in general for the last several months.
I lost the weight in a very low carb diet and continue to do the same since I feel better than I ever have at 53
I appreciate any thoughts.

Daily weight swings are normal. This morning I was up 2lbs even after a 6 mile walk the day before, or possibly because of it. My hips were hurting this morning so it is probably water weight trying to protect my joints and heal the muscles.

I use a trending app called Libra to track these fluctuations it helps me to see the overall trend of my weight and this stops me freaking out if I have an unexpected gain. It is usually down to a high sodium meal or unusual amount of exercise. I am quite sedentary normally.

I now weigh in the mid-130s (at 5'5"), and fluctuate by that much sometimes day to day. 5 pounds isn't unheard of; 2-3 is completely routine. It's how healthy bodies work, and why many of us think of maintenance as a weight range, rather than a single goal weight.
