Who here is on 45-50% carbs? I'm on a 1,200 calorie intake per day and before I was given 150g of carbs per day but switched it to 45% which is 135g carbs per day..
Anyone on here on that much carbs and still losing weight? I know they say it's best to lower your carbs but.. even when I'm eating really healthier foods besides fruits, veggies, salmon or chicken.. it still involves carbs! Love them, but not the "bad carbs" like white rice, pasta unless it's whole grain/wheat.. etc.

I am losing and I still eat carbs! But I also work out almost every day! I have lost a lot of inches without restricting my carb intake, however I don't eat a lot of bread.0

My carbs are at 40%, but I always go over a little bit. I exercise hard 4-5 times a week.0

carbs arnt bad youre not supposed to go any lower than 45% for more than a few months. i lost 10kg without even paying attentions to my carbs. i was eating 60% or 55% carbs(i dont know if i actually reached it though). i lowered it to 50% and thats a good balance for me with 25% 25% . ive been maintaining well and getting nice and sculpted0 -
I am not a fan of carbs but i can tell you this. You can lose weight eating high carbs. There is a guy who lost 30lbs in 2 months doing a "twinkie diet" look it up.0

I think 40% carbs works great! I just find myself so much more energetic and never get that awful sleepy feeling after a meal. My stomach never hurts any more either. All I do is have 1 meal per day carb-free and it is rarely the basis of a whole meal. Once you cut down the carbs the proteins and good fats go up too which is great for general health and fitness.0

Carbs are not evil! You can lose weight on any ratio of carb/fat/protein as long as you are on a calorie deficit as far as I'm aware.0

Lower than 100g a day is quite hard to achieve - I find my body responds best to 100-150g carbs a day - from good complex sources and vegetables. That's easy to sustain long term and isnt subjecting my body to anything drastic.0

Percentage wise, I am well over 75% daily on carbs. I am on a 1200 calorie limit but was previously 1250. I did lose weight, my stats are in my signature. I am mostly a starch based eater with veggies (I want to eat fruit!). I used to exercise like crazy until my back got injured and now I am slowly recovering and figuring out how to do pull ups and core exercises (no more lifting weights above my head until my back heals!) and I did lose weight while in bed (7 lbs but when I am eating so few calories...)
I would say that I try to not consume added sugars and refined carbs. If I eat bread, it's rye or pumpernickel and that's not often. I try to be good with my eating habits, but this dietary lifestyle change for me is new (about 1 month and a half) and I am struggling but determined.0
