Italy has some great super quick and easy recipes. My go to minimalist recipes from the store cupboard are spaghetti aglio olio, bagna cauda, pasta puttanesca, spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti con bottarga.

Sichuan tomato and egg stir fry on noodles. I would add a chopped clove of garlic per person to this. I don't bother to remove the tomato pulp.

Puttanesca is so simple, quick and so so so yummy!
Plus if you make carbonara in the classic way you only need: guanciale (or pancetta, if it's easier to find), pecorino, egg, pepper and bucatini (or whatever pasta type you want). Cheap and easy
another good pasta sauce is aubergine and tomato. Diced aubergine cooked in tomato passata with some onions, garlic, pepper and origano.0 -
Easy breakfast muffins...
Egg whites slightly whipped, cooked ground Turkey, chopped broccoli, seasonings, shredded cheese if you want. Mix all together, 3/4 fill non-stick muffin tins, bake at 400F until golden on top.
Breakfast for now...snack for later1 -
Socca - french flat bread that has chickpea flour, salt, oil, and water (many varieties can be found with different herbs added)
Stir fried asparagus over rice - just lightly stir fry asparagus, add finely diced garlic and soy sauce until fragrant, and serve over cooked rice.
For dessert - pomegranate arils over vanilla ice cream. The pomegranate is really tart, and with the sweet ice cream, it's awesome, and the color is very pretty.0 -
A fav of mine is chicken breast in a glass pan and top with a small jar of pesto sauce, bake until chicken is cooked through, add mozzarella cheese in top 5 mins before done, serve it over whatever you want (rice, quinoa, pasta, ect.)0

Eggroll in a Bowl
Chopped Cabbage or a bag of Cole Slaw Mix
Ground Turkey
Soy Sauce
Sesame Oil
Onions/Garlic/Scallions/Sesame Seeds/Ginger (optional)
Fry the ground turkey in the sesame oil. Add the cabbage/cole slaw mix (and the Onions/Garlic/Scallions/Sesame Seeds/Ginger, if desired) and soy sauce. Fry until cabbage is done. Goes well with rice if that fits your calories.0
