Protein

Hi I'm trying to gain some weight because I've always been really skinny, im 5"3 and weigh 6 stone 6 lbs. I want to try and get to 7 stone 2 lbs first of all, to get to a more healthy weight. I'm struggling at the moment to get enough protein in my diet, without buying more meat. Any ideas?

    Protein shakes, high protein yoghurts, cottage cheese, eggs, legumes/beans.

    Quark is good too, it's like soft cheese, buy the full fat one. Also you can drink full fat milk.

    Tofu. Seitan. Qorn. Whey supplements.

    If you want to try more protein and fat, you will get even more calories per gram.

    In this category I would include all the nuts and cheeses, soybeans, lupini beans.
