ok, I just was wondering how much water others class as being a cup.?? I am using 250ml as the basis for one cup of water ... I have 2 x 750ml water bottles which I fill up in the morning, and drink them throughout the day. I then have a glass of water in the morning when I wake; and another one at bedtime ... so making sure I have at least my 8 cups, somedays its more.
i've read some places that you should drink 1.5l a day, other places 2l a day... so using my 250 ml measure I'm meeting 2l a day minimum.
so its not that i'm worried that i'm not getting enough water - its just for logging the amount of cups in MFP. xxx

I do 8 oz. as a cup0

8 oz, I believe that is 225mL0

I was going on about half a pint (250ml), so at least 2l or 4 pints a day.0
-
i have 500ml glasses so i drink about 6 of those and count that as 8 x0
-
I've read 250mL but I do mine as 300mL for a cup. That way, when I drink out of my 600mL bottle, I know how much I'm drinking.0
-
I also count a cup as 250ml or 1/2 pint. But the more I drink the better I feel0

A cup is 250ml......I have a 600ml bottle and drink about 3 1/2 of them.............0

I have 500ml bottle and have 4 of them a day0

thanks everyone - it was asked more out of curiousity than anything. also i realised yesterday that one of my bottles is a litre not 750ml; so i've actually been drinking more than i thought. I too feel better when i've drank plenty of water; normally its more noticeable because i feel sluggish when i've not had enough xxx0
