Why do people stare at my ample backside when I’m walking on the treadmill in the gym? I can see their reflection in the window and it’s creepy! I know it jiggles but that’s why I’m at the gym in the first place! Get a life!

Try thinking of the positive aspect.
People are looking in admiration, nothing to do with the size of your backside, more to do with you are keeping active at an age where a lot of people have given up.
Other reasons you may think people are staring
-they are zoned out and are looking at nothing.
- you are new to the gym, I think most of us check out our surroundings and look/note the new person/thing. Just good awareness practice.
- They are new to the gym and looking for leads/pointers on equipment use, etiquette, inspiration.
I am 65 and changed my lifting gym last year. At my old place everyone was used to me being there and didn’t blink when I walked in (nods etc some days).
At my new place eyes tracked me for the first month or so, especially as I was looking for a good time for me so was in and out at differing times. Now, people know my routine, acknowledge me, or not, and leave me to it.
I’m the little woman that lifts much lighter than everyone else, I don’t care, neither do they.

Use it as motivation . The more toned you get the more the stares , but in admiration . Keep going0

I have sometime caught myself staring at someone’s behind simply because it was there and moving in a good pace that I could try to match. Nothing to do with the person or staring at them, just a good suitable moving focus to both zone out and pace myself with.4

My mom is 78. She just has contracted a rare disease with a long diagnostic period.
But last year, before the disease came, she was working out at a gym with young ladies. They were so impressed with her. At first she could only do one of each exercise, then she was improving.
Her tenacity and presence was an inspiration to those young folks,
It was a small group setting, so they could talk about it, whereas at most gyms - people can have their thoughts but never talk.
