As long as it tastes good to you!
And its not "cheap"...its "inexpensive", or "a good value" beer1 -
I support my local Craft Breweries, might not be the cheapest option but I enjoy their beer. When I was in college I definitely hit up the cheap stuff 🤣0

Gotcha like I tell me kids - I’m not “old” I’m “vintage” so I’m automatically cool right ?1

I can’t think of any other redeeming qualities.

Ha, Touché! Excellent point!
The "buck a beer" pissed me off so much
Firstly, I prefer wine, lower that tax *kitten*
Secondly....I'll just shut it, I'm not politicky anyhow and I know it's a no-no0 -
I'm not huge on beer, but as I recall Lucky Lager was a decent tasting inexpensive beer.
My favs are Mill Street organic lager, Guinness and Moosehead. I don't often drink beer, but will pick up a can of any of these when on sale, cheaper beer!0 -

"Cheap" is a funny and relative term in the beer world. My state has the most craft breweries per capita. A six pack of a decent Magic Hat for $8 is looked down at, as a 4 pack of the double hoppy stuff sells for $16. But if I bring that same $8 six-pack to my home state, my family things I've grown to be a beer snob! They don't buy anything that doesn't come in 30s.

lol that’s how I grew up -
anytime my family gets together everyone brings a 30 pk and a cooler and you never have look too far for your next beer1 -
For lack of anything else, I drank a Montucky the other day. It wasn’t terrible.0

Can't remember the last time I had a beer. Never liked it. Prefer Whisky.1

Fun fact: "Old Milwaukee Light is the most award-winning light beer in the history of the Great American Beer Festival."

Beer makes me want to throw up a little bit. I have tried so hard to get accustomed to it, but I just cannot do it. I get queasy just thinking about the taste.
My dad loves his Busch Light, though. I would assume that counts as cheap beer?2 -
Depends mostly on the season for me and what I'm doing. We have a lot of local craft breweries here and they have very good beer and in the winter I prefer IPAs and seasonal winter beers.
I have a hard time with those in the summer when it's 100+ degrees and they don't really appeal. I usually opt for Pacifico or Victoria in the summer with a lime wedge poolside.
If I'm going camping I will usually bring a 6er of Coors Banquet or PBR along with some IPS or Pale Ales because I have fond memories of camping with my dad when I was a kid and he always drank Coors or PBR.0 -
