1st day and I am about to die...... any advice

    I started new fasting 16 hours only eat 8.... only thing you can have during intermittent fasting is water, unsweetened tea or black coffee. I workout in mornings before work and thought I was going to die before lunch.

    I once fasted for 5 days. I pretended I was sick, stayed in bed and took gravol to sleep

    The intermittent fasting is what I do naturally. I never want to eat breakfast and then am so busy at work, or just get interrupted too often to eat and enjoy it.

    No help at all I realize, but what I can say is if you can get past the intermittent hunger, it makes me appreciate my meals a lot more

    I do the 8:16 fasting method. I fast for about 8 hours then I have a 16 hour eating window. It's pretty sweet.

    My 1st 16 hour fast ends in 37 minutes.

    Are you still alive?

    We all fast when we sleep up until 'break fast'. Spread it out slower, so if you eat breakfast at 8, push it to 9 and so on. I was doing 16:8 for years, didn't know there was a name for it till I came to MFP. The more you know.

    Go to bed, cant feel hungry if youre asleep. What time frame you doing? Im eating from 10 till 6.

    I survived the 1st day I hope it gets easier 😒 I’m eating between 12-8. I appreciate everyone’s advice and opinions 👍🏻😊

    I have been doing it before it was a thing. It comes natural to me so I don't know what to tell you.

    Just a suggestion. Continue to try it and see if you like it but if not, intermittent fasting isn't for you and that's perfectly fine. Yes there are benefits but its not a cure all as some people advertise it as, and if you struggle to do it and hate every minute of it, that's no way to live.
