Daily Calories?

Hello,
I’m new to the App but wondered if anyone could clarify why my daily calories are 1,536 when the NHS recommended daily amount to lose weight is 1,400?
Just want to make sure I’m on track ! 😊

    What are your stats? How much do you want to lose? What did you pick as your weekly goal?

    Hi, I selected a loss of 1lbs a week and have 2 stone to lose . Have I done something wrong ?!!!

    Assuming you are female, What are your stats? Height, weight, and age.

    The NHS gives generalized guidelines for weight loss calories; 1400 for women but the actual number will vary by person based on their age, weight, height, how much they choose to lose per week. If you give us that information, we can tell you if that's an appropriate goal that MFP has given you. It very likely is.
