Yes, I sometimes add one or two extra days when doing a running programme but I always take it easy on the extra days. Ideally you want to be training at a good intensity every other day. If you run inbetween it should be gentler in order to give your body a bit of a rest. Recovery is just as important as the training!0

I justed myself, actually just got back doing day 2, Love this app! Will check out that website you listed. Actually was wondering myself how many days a week people do it.0

I was thinking this :-/
I don't really have set days to do it, I just do it when I feel like it and if I feel like doing it 4 days a week or even 5 then I'm not exactly going to die am I? That's the theory.0 -
I do the program every other day along with extra walking. So on my C25K days I am moving a total of 3.5 miles but on my walk only day it's 4.5 miles. Then there are some walk days I just feel good and run. But I do think the rest day in between for the first 9 weeks is important.0

This is exactly what I do. I'm starting week 5 tomorrow.0 -
I don't run on two consecutive days but sometimes go for walks on rest days. For the past two weeks (since starting C25K) I have run literally every other day, so I ended up running 4 times this past week (M-W-F-S) but 3 the week before (T-T-S). I also think the rest day is important. I wouldn't want to risk injury just because I can't wait to graduate C25K.0

I'm starting C25K (again) this week, but to keep myself in the habit of getting up and out I'll be doing a different mix of music on my 'rest days' and just walking and then picking up the pace (but not jogging) during the 'run times.' I want to keep myself in the habit of getting out there and building my endurance but I don't want to risk injury or burn out, so walking on my off days was a good compromise for me.0

Its actually really important to give your joints etc a rest so don't run on consecutive days! Walk, swim, Zumba etc fine, but not running0
