coffee calories

Hi! New to using the message boards... does anyone know just how many actual calories are in a black cup of coffee ? I think there are some, but don't have a nutrition label to add this to my food diary.

    0 in pure black coffee. calories only come in anything added (sugar, sweetner, milk, cream...)

    Yep. No calories in black unsweetened coffee.

    There as actually about 2 calories in an 8 oz (roughly 250 ml) cup of black coffee -- not enough tho worry

    There are around 5 calories in a large cup of coffee.

    Welcome Carol, if you don't have a label the search option is also pretty accurate to adding food items. The coffee option I use in the food database shows 2 calories for one cup.

    Somewhere between 0 and 2, depending on the size, so irrelevant.
