In need of motivation

I’m trying to lose 15 lbs. but instead I’ve gained 3 lbs. In need of motivation.

    I hear you! I have been losing and gaining the same 2-3lbs forever. It stops today! I need motivation too since I still need to lose 30lbs. Going to start tightening up my diet again and exercise is a priority. Good luck.

    The obvious questions would be: Are you tracking everything? Using a Food Scale, etc...?

    What I did was start with portion size reduction. I did it slowly. Logged everything (even the bits I didn't want too) and then the next few days I would make my meal a bit smaller. A few weeks later and I was eating half as much. TMI but less eaten is less food inside you, it adds up. Same for water. if you're drinking a ton of water, it's in there and you may be retaining it. That's why I prefer using Non Scale method for things like that. See if your belt hole is changing, if your pants are a bit loser, etc...

    Some people can do it all at once, Portion Control, Switch to healthier options, start exercising, etc... I was not one of those, I did it in steps. Took me a couple months to start adding exercising to the mix.
